What a wonderful break it has been. I always say that there are two reasons for becoming a teacher Christmas break is one of them. We had a great December. Nate and I went to San Diego to visit Tom and his family. We went to the BYU vs San Diego football game. We decided that there were more BYU fans there then SDSU.
Nathan and I went on a cruise for Christmas this year with some of Nathan's family.
We drove down to San Diego a day early to see Toms family and watch the BYU bowl game (boy wasn't that scary). On Sunday we left on our cruise. We went to the Mexican Riviera. We went snorkeling in Cabo, saw the old sites in Mazatlan, and did this wild cable pulley thing in Puerto Vallarta. Nathan's favorite time was spent swimming in the ocean. I sat on the beach and watched, it was WAY to cold for me to get in. We had a great time. While we were snorkeling, I saw my very first jelly fish. That thrill was short lived when I realized that there was like a thousand of them and they stung us. Luckily for us they were small. The pulley course consisted of cables tied to the side of two mountains. You went across one way then hiked up a Little bit and went back across. By the time you are at the top the world seemed like a Hot Wheels town. It was high. It was awesome though. I think there was a little more thrill involved when you think that you are in Mexico and the thought came to you ....How safe is it really?? But we all made it back alive. While on the boat we went to karaoke night, comedians, magicians, hypnotists you name it, they got it on the boat. And of course we ate a lot of food.
When we got back to land we went snowboarding in California at Big Bear. The snow was alright, but it doesn't beat Utah. I didn't want to try any jumps this year because now that I'm 25 I don't recover as quickly as I used to. We just cruised and that's what I like to do. That brings us to the present. I'm sorry that I don't keep up to date, but since its that new year its a good time to start.

Thanksgiving
Nathan and I had a wonderful time going home for thanksgiving. On Friday we went snowboarding. We had a great time even though not very many runs were open because there wasn't much snow. We thank Kelly for letting us use her ski lift tickets. We also went to the BYU vs. UTAH football game. It was awesome. I knew BYU was going to win it all along, but they had to make it interesting. For those of you who don't know, BYU was down on their own 4 yard line, they were facing 4th down and 18, with around a minute left to play. Some how (it was a miracle) we completed a 50 yrd bomb and later went to score and win the game.
