Enjoying My Time Off

I know that I've been enjoying my maternity leave to the fullest, when the other day I ran into a current student of mine and I couldn't remember his name (and still don't). I guess I haven't thought to much about what is going on at Ridge. I hope this isn't an indication of what it will be like in a month when I go back.

Two Months and Counting

Micah is two months old this week. I've been taking pictures every week or so. I don't think he looks any different, but he is getting bigger. We went to the pediatrican on Tuesday. Here are his stats: 9 lbs 15 oz 21 in
Nate and I went to visit my brother and his family for Valentines day. We had a great time sledding. I mostly just watched, but I did go down one time. Micah sat at the top of the hill and enjoyed the beautiful day.
My mom came out to visit while Nate was in DC with SOMA. We went shopping, ate great food, watched SUU play soccer and just hung out. It was fun having her here especially since Nate was gone. We also had a fun St Patrick's Day. Micah and I went to a party at a friends house. We watched all the kids play in the sprinklers. He just slept the whole time basking in the warm sun, and really sleeping anywhere I put him.
He still doesn't do anything but the same old; eat, poop, sleep, cry cycle. He is awake a lot more and sure is cute. He loves to be held and it amazes me how long it takes to get anything done at the house. It's fun being a mom. So far, so good. Here are random pictures that I've taken of him. I want you to notice that he is actually awake, and fot the most part happy sitting in his chair and looking around the room.
