Micah-isms

I think Micah is so funny. Everyday I laugh at the silly things he says. I've written down my ten favorites.
10- (From the other room, upstairs, into the bathroom) "Mama, what-a you doing in there?"
9- (As he is running around our house) "I running around, mama. I running around........"
8- Me "Micah before we wrestle, you are supposed to say "attack!" so I can get ready."
Micah "Say Attack"
7-Me "Want to go pee pee in the potty?"
Micah "No, mom. I go pee pee in my diaper."
6- "Burps are stinkers that come out of my mouth."
5- "Stinkers come out of my bum."
4- (As we pass the hospital) "That's where daddy lives."
3- Me "Micah quit putting your finger in your nose."
Micah "But I got boogers stuck in there."
2- (While I'm changing his diaper or he's in the tub)
Me "Micah looks like you have your penis there. (I'm married to a urologist, occupational hazard)
Micah "No mom, I got my elephant."
1- (While I'm puking) "Mama is sick, because she is hiding a baby in her tummy."

Baby BOY #3 due to arrive July 1st (hopefully sooner).

Christmas Bells Are Ringing

This year we had a special visitor come and check up on us. He is an elf from Santa and go back every night to tell him what he saw. This was Micah's favorite place. He laughed and laughed and would not stop talking about how funny "Emmo" (not Elmo or Ammo) is.
Micah made his very own Christmas list.
Santa came to the South Charleston Library and ready a story for the kids.
Beau cooperated, mostly but....

this is as close as Micah would get. He did shout that he wanted trains.
He made a reindeer hat and also watched a parade.
On Christmas Eve we ate at a friends house. That night we opened our new pjs, talked to family, and told the Christmas story using the Fisher Price Nativity.

Santa was the hero of the morning. Micah was so excited about the trains that he wouldn't open any other presents. Eventually, I just took a few of them back upstairs to be given to him for his birthday.

Beau loved to open his presents. He got a new car ride and lots of cars to drive. He also got lots of books, which he loves. His favorite present was the Gerber snacks (of course, food) that Santa brought.

We ate a good breakfast, went to church and took a huge nap. It was a great day. Nate worked all weekend, but we able to spend Christmas morning with us. Who knew there would be so many emergencies in one weekend?

Nate had that last week of December off and we got a lot of projects done around the house. The weather was great and we went to the park a few times. We also took an impromptu trip to Columbus. We met Nate's Sis and Hubby there. We went to the COSI museum and also the temple. We spent time eating complimentary hot chocolate and swimming. It was a great way to end 2011 (So fun that we didn't even take any pictures).

We're ready for 2012....I think.
