Christmas

Christmas eve was spent with several of my friends and their families.  Many of us have found ourselves, here in West Virginia, away from our own families.
Families were: Johnson, Frost, Knackstedt, Curtis, Fiack, Knight, Knapp, Martinez, McIntyre.  It was a mad house. Including our three there were 29 kids.
They had a small Christmas pageant and Micah was Joseph.  Here he is with Mary and baby Jesus.  Beau chose not to participate this year.
After our dinner with friends, we came home, got in our pajamas and read some Christmas stories of our own.
The morning brought lots of fun and good cheer.  The boys were so cute in opening their presents and really checking them out before moving on to the next one.
Highlights included new bikes, animals, legos, and candy.
We were very blessed this year.  Everyone is healthy and happy.

Eli 6 mo

Stats:
weight- 16.2 lbs (5%)
height- 27in (30%)
Welcome to my life with Eli......
Okay, okay....He really can be a sweet boy.
Micah loves him soo much.  He loves to play with him and tries to make him smile.
Eli loves to swing.  It's how he sleeps at night and basically the only thing that keeps him happy when I'm not holding him (which feels like 20 hrs a day).  He still doesn't roll, but will allow a few minutes of tummy time.
In early January he decided that he wants to sit.  He still has no interest in rolling or crawling.  He just cries and the boys give him what he wants.
Life has gotten much busier with him around.  I don't feel like I just had one baby, but 5.  I have discovered that he is always hungry and just wants more food.  I have also learned that I cant go to bed with the kitchen messy.  It never bothered me in the past, but now it just puts my whole day off if I have to come down to make breakfast in a dirty kitchen.
Eli started to eat solids.  Like I said before he just wants more food.  He loves the rice.  He loves carrots, squash, bananas, beans, peas, sweet potatoes, applesauce, pears.....EVERYTHING.
Sometimes waiting to be fed can be tiring.  This is the life of the third child.
He really is a beautiful baby.  He is starting to sleep better.  I still cant count on a nap during the day, but nights are much better.  We really love having him in our family.  I can barely remember what life was like with out him (could be the sleep deprivation talking).
