Beau is 4 Months

Weight: 14 lbs 1 oz (50th %)

Height: 26 in (75 %)

What can Beau do? Well.... Last time I told many lies about Beau's accomplishments. He really can roll, cry, eat and poop. He is a good sleeper at night and smiles a lot. He has discovered is "voice" and likes to share it with all.

Micah-langelo

Micah came running down the stairs and I saw an un-capped permanent marker and a huge smile. I clapped my hands on my cheeks and said, "NO, No,no, no,no,no,no,no,no,no,nonononono."

At my reaction, Micah dropped the marker, hid in the corner and started to cry. I asked him to show me where he colored and we went up to his room. He got the wall, the window, the blinds, the door, many toys and the crib. I started surveying the damage, and luckily it could have been worse.

He got the window (notice the broken blinds grrrr), wall, door, books, toys, and himself.

The last few photos are after i tried to wash it off. The Mister Clean, Magic Eraser worked pretty good. The most maddening part is I was the one to leave the marker out.

Moral of the story- Put away all your markers, then your kids wont be able to use them.

Spring

In February when it was cold and rainy, we spent ours days doing this,

and this,

and a lot of this.

We spent time with friends and went the Clay Center a lot.

We even made another trip to Jump Craze.

Micah also did a lot of this.

The only photo I can get of both of them is Micah laying on Beau, giving him a "hug".

Then March came along and we went to the park. We have had lots of fun doing this,

And also throwing balls around. I dont have any current pictures of that, but it looks the same as before. The blossoms are out, the sky is blue, Charleston isnt so bad after all.

March Madness

We started off March Madness with tickets to see the Harlem Globetrotters. Nate and I had never seen them and we wanted to take Micah to his first "basketball game".

We got all dressed up in our finest basketball attire.

Beau misses all the action,

until Micah jumps on him (I love Beau's scared look).

There was a lot of sche-nan-nigans, which made the game fun to watch. If you look closely you can see the GT player sitting on the rim.

This video doesn't do him justice. Their little tricks were cool.

It was a great way to start off March. I love getting out and mixing in with the WV folks. It is always a cultural experience and this night did not disappoint.
