Summer Fun

July and August brought lots of fun in the sun.
1. We went out on a friend's boat. Nate and I wake boarded (Nate still thinks he is hot stuff on the water) and Beau and Micah swam.

2. Micah took swim lessons. He did a good job of puting his head under the water to get the diving toy. He loves to jump off the sides of the pool and even jumped off the diving board.

Beau had to watch from the sidelines this year, maybe next year i'll put him in lessons. We spent a lot of time at the free pool. We usually would swim for an hour or so, eat a picnic, and then stay for lessons. It was a pretty sweat gig.

3. We spent more time at the Clay Center.
4. Swam at our friend's pool. Micah loved to play with the ping-pong balls. Beau loved floating around in his starfish tube.

5. Great-grandma came to visit. Micah has french fries in one hand and an ice cream sundae just waiting to be eaten.

Nate and the boys also went to Columbus to visit Kelly's family. They were only there for a day, but they packed in 3 days of activities.

6. Micah got to light off his first firework. Sure it was just a sparkler, but he loved it. For the last month everytime he sees flashing lights he says, "fireworks, mama."
