Fall

Fall started off with Katie and I running the Charleston Distance Run. It is 15 miles with 5 of them being hills. It was VERY humid, but we survived and finished in 2:24:34. I really liked finishing on the track. They announce your name when you enter the stadium. I felt like I was in 1st place.

Charleston has an abundance of leaves. We rake our little yard every other day, just to keep up. The boys loved playing in the piles, they get to be big.

They loved playing in the mud in our back yard.

This year we ventured out to Point Pleasant, WV to the Mothman Festival. It was complete with Men in Black, Ghostbusters, old ladies line dancing, and expensive trinkets.

Maggie and I got suckered into buying these onesies.

We also went to a near by pumpkin patch. They had tractor rides, a corn maze, corn kernel play box, a small playground and of course pumpkins. So fun.

We celebrated Thanksgiving with friends here in Charleston. It was nice to eat really good food, with out having to cook it myself. I only had to bring the rolls (Holly knew not to trust me with anything difficult)
